The Kumanovo Military Technical Agreement

On 9 June 1999 NATO/KFOR and the governments of the FRY and Serbia signed the Military Technical Agreement, setting out the phased, verifiable withdrawal of all FRY forces from Kosovo within 11 days.

It was signed by Lt Gen Mike Jackson (KFOR), Col Gen Svetozar Marjanović (VJ) and Lt Gen Obrad Stevanović (Serbian MUP). The text names no place; Kumanovo is confirmed by the UK Defence Secretary in Parliament on 10 June. Earlier, on 3 June, the Serbian Assembly and the federal government had accepted the peace principles presented by Ahtisaari and Chernomyrdin [1] [2] [3].
