Fadil Geci

Fadil Geci, a former KLA fighter and former LDK member, is the brother of Gani Geci, whom KLA General Staff Communiqué No. 59 (October 1998) had labelled a Serbian collaborator. In October 2024 he testified publicly as a prosecution witness in Thaçi et al.

On 21 October 2024 he testified for the Prosecution. According to court reporting, he said Communiqué No. 59 had been authored by Thaçi, that he had gone to Thaçi's house to ask about it and that afterwards two of his friends were killed and two brothers wounded. He described threats by Thaçi and Selimi and the arrest and mistreatment of LDK-linked assembly members near Qirez in September 1998, and rejected as "complete lies" the claims that his brother had shot a KLA member.
