The ICTY indictment of Milošević and four officials

On 24 May 1999 ICTY Judge David Hunt confirmed an indictment against Slobodan Milošević, Milan Milutinović, Nikola Šainović, Dragoljub Ojdanić and Vlajko Stojiljković for crimes against humanity and violations of the laws of war in Kosovo; it was made public on 27 May.

According to the ICTY announcement, by the date of the indictment about 740,000 Kosovo Albanians had been expelled, and the accused were charged with the murder of over 340 people identified by name. An indictment is a prosecution allegation, not a judicial finding [1] [2].
